Significant Changes to the International Residential Code
On January 1, 2027, all building departments in South Carolina started enforcing the 2024 IRC code for new residential construction and remodeling.
This 3-hour class led by Codes Guru Andy Barber will review the significant changes in the 2024 IRC Codes book and will cover all chapters of the code. We will also have a general discussion on some topics that have been requested as they relate to ongoing code questions.
It is highly recommended that you have a copy of the 2024 IRC book in loose-leaf format. You can purchase it online using THIS LINK.
